The drop rates for both 10 and 11 stamina dungeons are just about the same, but the 10 stamina dungeons are more stamina efficient. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

For weekends, I decided to try out OoH1 instead of 5. Now that I have four ROdins, I can push button seven-floor dungeons without having to kill my fingers by setting up a Challenge Mode team every run.

Not nearly as stamina efficient as OoH5, but it’s a lot less trouble to clear. It’s worth noting that the stamina per +egg rivaled that of weekday 11 stamina dungeons in spite of OoH1 costing one more stamina and having one less trash floor. I didn’t time it, but I’d presume that OoH1 is more time efficient than OoH5.

That makes 1,457 +eggs from T5s this event. Add in +eggs from Star Vault and various other sources and that’s about 1,600. I didn’t think I’d farm this much again, but with farming becoming so much easier with four ROdins it really wasn’t that bad. If GungHo didn’t drop the ball and made 1.5x drops available on weekend evenings, I probably would’ve cracked 2,000.

  1. Have I been doing it wrong this whole time, running L5s instead of L3 or L1? Looking at Hyperion, for example, L5 has 8 trash floors for 12 stam, or 1.5 stam per trash floor. L1 is 6 floors for 10 stam, or 1.66 stam per trash floor. Rhea and Clayus are 8/14 and 6/11 (1.75 v 1.83). I guess L3 has the tiny chance of dropping a golem, but I can’t imagine you care about that.

Are the + rates better on the lower floors, or are you running 7 floor dungeons because you’re willing to trade off stam efficiency for time efficiency?

    • Yes, it’s about time efficiency combined with ease of clearing with a Goemon & 5x ROdin team. I farm a few hours a day at least, so these are the two most important factors for me. I don’t know about the fifth floors of other dungeons, but OoH5 is better for stamina efficiency by at least a couple stamina per +egg. I’d assume the others are better too, but I don’t have anything to back that up.

  2. I want to tear my eyeballs out from farming…I didn’t even do 1/10th of what you did. I don’t even understand how you can do it! Does a push button team make that much difference? You have serious fortitude. All I did was KoG because of my low rank and it was tedious.

    • Yes, push button teams make a huge difference since you don’t even need to look at the screen most of the time. This means I can watch anime, TV, Twitch or whatever I’d be doing anyways and still farm. KoG is too much work and has a risk of dying over long farming sessions.
