  1. Nice man! I also bought Yomi dragon and hyper maxed with full dark latents. It’s certainly a lot of fun, but i feel like RaDragon is just that much stronger.

    To me, it seems like Yomi dragons damage is kinda meh. On the otherhand though i put a Yomidragon on my Awoken Yomi team and gooooodddammmnnn that sir was exactly what my A.Yomi team was missing. I really love playing A.Yomi now. (A.Yomi-Yomidra-A.Haku-A.Haku-Zaerog8-A.Yomi)

  3. Hi Setsu, I’m a huge fan of your blog.

    I find Akechi is a very high priority sub in Yomidra team, but his awoken is quite underwhelming. I see the benefits of spell haste, but is there any other reasons? Also, any other alternatives in your opinion?

  4. i decided to buy yomidra after reading your blog post. i cleared all levels except true dragon realm with yomidra, haku, haku, haku, akechi, yomidra. on true dragon realm, i swapped one haku for a dark izanami.

    i added more friend slots 307,977,263. my yomidra is hypermaxed with dark resist latents. send friend request if you have (or plan to) hypermaxed yomidra

  5. Perry’s post reminds me to ask: is a Haku system team a possibility for Yomi Dragon? I was thinking 3 AHaku plus anything that has 2 S+ (to get the system up on turn 1) and a short CD dark enhance (in case a Haku change leaves the board without an enhanced dark) — the two candidates I can think of are FA Lucifer and Dark Metatron.

    Basically you would use Hakus until you got a board change that left you without an enhanced dark orb. Use enhance, then Yomi Dragon twice, and the enhance is back up and you can go back to using Hakus.

    I guess the system can get stalled if you don’t skyfall a dark orb, or if all three Haku changes in a loop leave no dark enhanced orbs, but I don’t have a good sense of whether those things are likely to happen.

  6. Still not sure whether I should go for Yomi or Ra. For Ra I have 1 Dkali and an Indra but no 2nd Dkali and especially Isis… I do have core subs like multiple Hakus and Okuninushi for Yomi but no Akechi or any Dvalk.

    • I don’t understand why people are having so much trouble with this decision. If you don’t have the subs, then there’s no point in buying the leader. Assuming we follow JP, you’ll have at least one more chance to buy these so there’s really no rush.

  7. I have been practicing Yomidra , used her to beat dragon challenge, with a few flubs and retries. So far pretty fun, and its nice calculating out consistent dmg for bosses that dont require any more than the 5+1enhance.

    I have a few concerns/questions that I want to discuss, but so far no team guide for yomidra on PF or reddit.

    1. I have no Akechi. This makes using Haku really awkward imo. if I only have like 1-4ish dark orbs on the board, there’s pretty high chance to be orb trolled. I basically have been avoiding using Haku’s active at all, which is really stupid.

    2. I can’t figure out who to have in my last slot. My subs are oku/haku/pandora, then I have been testing out a few different options like DIza, DValk, and the non-god type Zaerog8. Since DValk has no plus eggs, the stats almost average out, despite the lack of god type on z8. DValk has like 100 more attack, and 1 more prong, but I figure the additional 3 orb enhances make up for it, plus the z8 active and haste is great. Team also has more HP.

    3. Why in the hell does Yomidra have light as the sub-color?? It is completely useless, unless you count 2.25x dmg from the god boost as worth. If there was some off color enhances, that would be nice. I actually defeated zaerog in dragon rush using a enhanced 5-orb combo of blue, thanks to Haku’s 1 blue enhance (Granted zaerog was at like 2% hp or soemthing, but hey it worked).

    Overall enjoying the team, as its a solid option for a player like me who doesnt have the combo skills to play AYomi or bastet. I still am trying to figure out my best options for subs, and how to effectively use Haku active without being trolled.

    • 1. You pretty much need Haku on the team to hit five OEs and run some of the better dark-gods like Pandora or Akechi. The chance of missing can be mitigated by a follow-on Yomi Dragon active or avoided entirely by bringing something like DMeta or Nephthys.

      2. Zaerog is fine for certain situations, but no amount of stats or awakenings is going to overcome 16x vs 36x. The team is starved for damage as-is.
