No More Chibis in the Christmas REM!

This is pretty much exactly what I hoped for, but didn’t think would come to pass. They’ve already released stats for the four-star Healer Girls and to be honest they’re pretty nice for silvers. Getting Echidna-style delays in non-fire elements with decent awakenings is pretty good value for trash eggs. The best part is they’re easy to skill up; it’d be even better if Nagas dropped in the Christmas dungeon.

What’s really exciting are the possibilities at gold. I’m assuming Genie and Sakuya are auto includes so I’m curious to see how many other Christmas-specific gold eggs they’re willing to add. Sakuya is at seven and Genie is at six, so I’d assume the MP card will be at eight like Claire and Kali. It’s probably safe to assume there will be at least one more at six and seven each. That leaves the five-stars. Murako’s tweet seems to imply that all chibis from all rarities are gone, but it doesn’t say anything about pantheon gods; the Chinese were in the Christmas REM last year. I’m really hoping the five-stars will be Christmas themed too, but I’m satisfied enough that the chibis are gone.

  3. I wonder if that means chibi ronia and chibi valk are now no longer obtainable ever. While I can’t say I’m sad to hear that (as i already own chibi valk) there’s no doubt that both of them are really really good for chibis and some argue chibi ronia is better than big Ronia XD

    Then and again they’re replacing them with christmas-themed healer girls and I don’t know what I think about that because their stats are lower than the real healer girls, and those girls already suffered from issues. The awakenings are pretty sweet though.

    • I’m sure they’ll find some way to push that chibi garbage onto us again.

      Their stats aren’t great, but they’re silver eggs so I don’t know what you were expecting. Silvers with weighted stats in the 600s are much more common than 700+ and these healer girls are way better than the mini Chinese who were around 500. These are REM filler, not team regulars so the fact they have utility use already puts them ahead of almost all silvers.

  4. Menace is still one of the best utility skills in the game, and every color getting access to it with far superior awakenings than vanilla Echidna make these a great set of silvers. And dat art.

    • Hopefully they also learn to push the power level of the gold eggs a bit further. I have no stats to back it up, but I’d like to believe that people rolled the Halloween REM less because it was filled with garbage and lacked chase cards.

      • Agree with this, they need to bump up the power creep to something like a Kali active with enhanced orbs already or something crazy like that.
        Halloween Kali was nice, but she didn’t change anything.

        • I think HKali was the appropriate power level, it’s that the other gold eggs were pretty much worthless; niche utility at best. I rather not see power creep originate from special/collab REMs.

  7. Man, I was just joking around when I said we’d be able to buy a Christmas DKali, but … welp. We will be able to buy a Christmas DKali, it looks like.

      • Me either; I thought it was wildly optimistic. Now I’m glad I never pulled the trigger for Shiva Dragon. Since I run Ra Chicken as a primary these days, and only have one DKali, she’ll take over Okuninushi’s spot. Wow.
