Easy Game, Easy Life

I decided to try out the team now that I have it and dropped the MP on dark resists. Yes, I could’ve waited the 2-4 weeks for 5×4 Izanami to come out, but that’s a lot of Arena runs I’d miss out on. This team is much more mindless than Ra Dragon which is great for farming, but it’s still going to be a grind stocking up on Pys before Arena 2 hits.

    • I believe you need 26 dark resists to survive DQ Hera at full HP, but it’s debatable if you should go full dark resists or mix in skill delay resists. If you get hit with Lifive into DQ Hera it may be difficult to heal back up to full — the team’s RCV is not so great — so every 1% helps in that case. Personally, I already had a Yomi Dragon with 2 skill delay resists, so I just filled up the rest of my slots with dark resists.

  1. How good would a team of hypermaxed awoken FA lucifer, yomidragon, eschmali,a Loki, akechi be against arena 1 since your a pro at it. My team is not fully skilled up or plused up. Just hypothetically speaking. Thanks!

  2. Can you post a video of your new team? or if you have a link of this team? I would love to see the run instead just imagining it hehe

  3. Congrats on your arena speed team. This team has made arena a breeze for me. Parvati is am super annoying, but her constant supply of hearts makea it easy to stall her absorb.

Whose your favorite arena 1.0 team to use? I’m still evolving my materials to get Loki my my AAF Luci team, but I think yomidra with 2x eschamali is my favorite right now.

    • I think the 2x Eschamali Yomi Dragon team is by far the best Arena 1 team now. It’s about as consistent as Ra Dragon, but much faster and mindless which counts for a lot when farming.

The team is SO much better against Sopdet. Parvati is annoying, but is actually pretty easy to clear. Once you learn when and when not to have your Eschamali skyfall buff up, that whole string of floors becomes easier. All those annoying one-shot floors in the early dungeon like the demons and tamas are so much easier. Time reductions are also much easier to work through.

On the other hand, the team’s RCV is pretty bad, making Lifive into DQ Hera somewhat difficult since you’ll have to heal to full twice over a few turns. If you don’t have two Yomi Dragons up going into Lifive, there’s the possibility of getting screwed. There are a few other things I’ve noticed, but until I run the team more I’ll withhold judgment for now.

As far as Lucifer, I’m not sure I like the team all that much for Arena 1. His main strength for Arena 2 is his true damage which is pretty much useless for in Arena 1.

    • Yeah, I need some more +eggs, too. I could probably do it before then and just make do with Ceres or GOdin, but if I’m going to dump a few stones trying to clear it, I may as well wait to do it with the best team.

  4. I wanted your opinion on using Mech Hera instead of Zeus Stratios. I know she wouldn’t have all the boost offered by YomiDra but do you think her stats and Awekenings may be worth the trade?

    • No, it’s not. Zeus Stratios is actually a key sub on the team because of his TPA damage and ability to break high-defense monsters and losing out on Yomi Dragon’s 1.5x ATK to gods is too devastating. I guess Machine Hera can make up the difference on something like Extreme King due to god killer, but can’t against Awoken Meimei. Also, Stratios’s extra 5% gravity means you can take it easy against the Kalis the first turn and setup to finish them off the next turn.

    • There are plenty of options — Akechi and Okuni probably being the best — but nothing else increases your damage enough to make the team rival Ra Dragon imo.

  5. All around excellent page, thanks for all the hard work. I’m finally moving from Ra Dragon to Yomi Dragon after seeing your success. I don’t have a second Eschamali yet however. Hoping to clear with Yomi,Yomi,Esch,Okun ( Statios vs Fagan). I’m leaning toward Fagan with his resists awakenings, but will the 15% loss of gravity screw me?

    • If you have the dark latents, Stratios is the only choice for Arena 1. You need the 2x TPA (especially against Awoken Meimei), the HP and, yes, the gravity difference makes the team much more reliable against the Kalis (DKali in particular).

  6. I dont think I will even try for Arena 2.0, so I’m just going to focus on an Arena 1.0 team. I heard it will still come out as limited time dungeon ~ once a week? I’m fine with that. I also want to minimize on getting Dark Resist Latents since I cut down on IAP. I’m thinking of putting in Masterion instead of Zeus (as semi-prep for Arena 2.0 in case I decide to do it). I do not have FA Lucifer, but I have Akechi, Haku, Okuni as potential 4th sub. I’m leaning towards Akechi for orb change, but I may need Okuni’s TPA. Any opinion on this (for Arena 1.0)?

    YomiDra/Esch/Esch/Masterion/ ??

    Thanks!!

    • P.S. Thott&Sopdet is also an option, then I wont need to get any latents. I don’t have many stones left so I have to choose carefully who to hyper. I have YomiD and both Esch hypered, +297 Haku (not max skill), +180 Okuni, +1 Akechi (finally max skilled).
