Freed From Doge Hell

Farming Takemikazuchi somewhat paid off. I was one skill up short on Mori and Keiji and finished them off today when I was farming for my Raphael and LZL (and Red Riding Hood). I wish I could say I don’t have to run the Wood & Dark Dog Dragon dungeon, but I have to get a couple skill ups for my Avalon Drake. At least the suicide hotline will longer have to expect my call when two Shibamarus spawn on the same floor and neither drops.

  1. I rolled maeda kiji this godfest, (and a boatload of mp). What are his uses, if he was a lead, I was thinking something along the lines of kiji/lkali/kanna/dkali/Isis. What do you think?

    • He’s a pretty bad leader option, but it depends on your box. But if you have a DKali I’d like to hope you have better options. As a sub, he’s a niche option for addressing locked orbs.

      • Idk if I would want to use him as a sub because he doesn’t guarantee anything. What leads can he go with?
Also that’s a hypothetical team I don’t have Isis lol.

Here’s one example for his use:
          ASusano – ASusano – Indra – Keiji

          With this system you have:
          – neverending defense beetween 50% and 75%
          – a possibility to refresh your orbs from orb troll or full poison board
          – full skill bind resist (assuming that both leaders have at least one
          – a viable amount of time enhances for combo gods

This sub set is incredibly good for combo gods like Sakuya and D/L Anubis.

  3. Ugh, I wish I had farmed it more. I only really cared about Aketchi and Mori, and I gave up on the last 2 for Akechi and fed him 2 badpiis, and I skilled up Mori with useless Bubpiis weeks ago. Oh well.

  4. yo setsu what do you think of awoken artemis as a leader? what would you suggest for subs?

also what do u think of cyberdragon shedar as a saria sub?

    • I was debating awoken artemis with someone on reddit and I still don’t think I’m sold on her ability as a leader. Hopefully setsu weighs in on this but I’ll share what I’m thinking.

Artemis seems like a nice replacement to sylvie when pairing with awoken freyja. You’ll get a nice 2x hp and 2.5x rcv boost and a consistent 5x multiplier. That multiplier will go up to 6.5 on skill usage and 13x on wood + water combo. Not a bad multiplier for a row-based team or even one that favors TPA. The HP and RCV boosts should let you tank most hits while grinding down a boss. What I really question is need for water orbs on this team. Most of the good green board changers don’t make blue orbs. The only one I can think of is summer gronia and the likelihood of having that 6* collab sub is slim. So how does this team consistently make blue orbs? Does it rely on RNG to give them three blue orbs or does it sub in a blue-based converter? I just don’t see this team being consistent enough to clear difficult content.

      • what about having umi yami as a sub? he offers no rows but he does have tpa and the double orb changer needed

        • There’s plenty of blue/green subs that could make the needed blue orbs, but then you hamstring your damage trying to make sure you can get those blue orbs when needed. This is the main reason why I’m questioning artemis until I can take her for a spin.

    • Wasn’t really a fan of her when she was announced and that really hasn’t changed with some of the videos that have been coming out of JP (the few that do). Her awakenings are kind of a mess; a TPA-based team with such a low multiplier is not a good fit; rows fit tank teams much better since you can get more out of a single board. However, those issues aren’t really the core of the issue: it’s that wood is in such disarray that it’s difficult to field any team from the element. Half the element is comprised of outdated TPA cards, while the later half is filled by row cards that have very little synergy. She’ll be more viable once she gets that killer sub.

  5. Ive done nothing but run mythical since it started and I only need Raph skillups. I’ve only had 8 Light dogs drop. Its insane what RNG can do to you. I could have maxed 3 LZL’s if I had any by this point.
