Disclaimer: The aggregate list is basically a compilation of the leader tier lists from three JP PAD sites: Game8, GameWith and AppMedia. The idea is that while a single tier list can have many points of contention, hopefully an aggregate can kind of smooth things over (it doesn’t, really, but it helps a bit). I try to keep my hands off the results as much as possible; the extent of my involvement is setting the algorithm to aggregate the results. I wish I could be fully hands off, but as none of the lists have 1:1 correlation in their grades, I have to have that much involvement. Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.
It’s great to see so many wood cards on the list and it should only improve next week when Kaede and Liu Bei’s time in the holding tank expires. For what it’s worth, all elements seem to be represented fairly well now. There’s still a lack of fire leads; while Xiang Mei is certainly one of the most powerful leads, the element really needs more options. Hopefully Awoken Cao Cao can fill that void, or at least be on Liu Bei’s level, but I’ve learned to not get my expectations up when it comes to GungHo.

I’ve actually been using Sephiroth quite a bit lately to solo farm MZeus for SDRs. I’ve learned quite a bit about the team and for the most part my initial assessment was true. He’s ridiculously OP in MZeus, but elsewhere, he just isn’t worth the effort. However, considering how much value there is to be obtained in that dungeon, I understand why the lists initially regarded Seph so high. |

I had tired of beating the Lakshmi drum long, long ago and wish I had continued to do so if only to now say “I told you so!”. She continuously received significant buffs and her clear videos remained impressive, but she was constantly ignored by the tier lists. I’m glad to see her back. It’s good to see Parvati also getting love and it’s strange that Shiva might be the weakest awoken from the pantheon now. |

Bastet Ace breaths new life into your old Bastet, producing results that are at least on par with Awoken Anubis with a more friendly activation. |

Similar to Lakshmi, Parvati has been receiving continuous buffs, but is still inferior due to the relatively poor sub pool. However, she has received some help with uevo Kaede and Robin Hood (as a better 100% SBR option), although if you have Kaede you’ll likely just be leading with her instead. |

I was never a huge fan of Persephone and Apollo’s rankings on the Game8 list, but I slowly came around on their abilities; well, Persephone’s, at least. With Game8 retracting their ranking, they now disappear from the aggregate list. Regardless, I’m still looking forward to playing around with Persephone whenever she hits NA. |

I think it’s a testament to Vritra’s power that he can be considered a strong leader despite his best leader pair being the outdated RSonia. I’m still not a huge fan of the double-color activation a la the awoken Greeks, but as an old Beelzebub-RSonia user, I’m tempted to try the team out if only because the sub pool is so damned strong now. |

While most of my current goals can be accomplished via solo play, I’m definitely going to have to get with the times and take advantage of co-op. I’m already making preparations by skilling up an MZeus and a few Dioses. |

I was wrong in my prediction of Kaede being #1 this week; the power of farming and accessibility apparently won out.

I’m so hyped for Miru, even tho shes ranked lower than Sumire and Kaede waifus, the fact that a farmable like her is considered top tier is so awesome… its been awhile since Zaerog I think, but she’s probably going to stay there for a long long time! Can’t wait to use her though skilling her up might be a tad tedious…
I’m hoping the Chinese and the older awoken leaders get some buffs to allow them back in the meta atleast…. I FINALLY pulled an Lkali during PCGF and of course I don’t really use Sakuya anymore lol.. Gungho please.

imo both Sumire and Miru are underrated, probably because Kaede is overhyped. From what I’ve seen on various videos and streams, all of them are are incredibly powerful.

I just saw Reco streaming Zeus Dragon farming with liu bei, he was one shotting each floor. You say how sephiroths’ value comes from his ability to farm machine zeus. then I think that a lot of liu bei’s prowess comes from his ability to farm almost anything in coop.
the teams were something like this:

Uhh, I stated in this very post (twice) that he’s great at co-op farming. I don’t think there was ever a question about that. The question was how much of his current placement is because of that vs. his actual ability as a solo leader. There’s no consistency in any of the lists so it’s impossible to tell for sure.

Sad to see Xiu Min not rank on any of the tier lists. Aside from a distinctly large Sun Wukong-shaped hole in my box I have a pretty good team for Xiu Min a.k.a replace Thor and Saria leads with Xiu Min and Xiu Min. Would require very little preparation and investment on my part aside from the initial payment of 300K MP.
I’ve been told I have a very strong You Yu lineup in my box, only missing Scheat but that’s more of a luxury option from what I’ve been seeing. However my blue box has no skill ups or +eggs really which makes it a really tough call.
I’ve been trying to farm MP so I can just buy both but I’m not sure how good of an idea that is either given how fast power creep moves. I might end up just sacking out and calling it quits on both, hahaha.

Xiu Min is S- on AppMedia.
Like you said, Scheat is a luxury option for You Yu. Due to the nature of his leader skill, there will be plenty of times where you won’t be able to make a TPA which means Scheat will be doing… shit for damage.
I mean, if you have teams that can clear all the content you want to, I don’t think there’s any particular rush to invest in an MP leader. Especially if you’re a co-op player.

Oh my bad, didn’t read all the tier lists clearly enough.
I do enjoy co-op but the hardest part is finding a partner. And then after that, even on a stable connection, disconnects happen all the time. Can’t wait for the “Reconnect” function to be added on PAD NA.
When doing co-op Thor x Saria still works brilliantly because I have like 81K HP hahaha.

Yeah, I saw. Hard to believe, I guess it was inevitable. I mean, Kaede and Xiang Mei can pretty much take the same team into every dungeon where Ra Dragon you need to have a bit more customization for each. It was good to see Miru got promoted, too; I wonder how much influence Reco had by playing her almost exclusively on stream.

Well Game8 revised their list again and now Kaede is the only SS leader, but Miru and Sumire are back down to two tiers below at A. I’d argue they should be at S, but let’s wait and see if they revise their list again before my next post on Saturday.

What is your Sephiroth team composition if you don’t mind me asking? I thought rolling Ichigo would be a blessing but for me it feels more of a curse forcing me to search for a good off colour sub while filling my 2 Kali board changes, 5x SBR, Bind Clear, Shield etc etc needs. Especially without a H.Kali, Loki or Horus.
