Disclaimer: The aggregate list is basically a compilation of the leader tier lists from three JP PAD sites: Game8, GameWith and AppMedia. The idea is that while a single tier list can have many points of contention, hopefully an aggregate can kind of smooth things over (it doesn’t, really, but it helps a bit). I try to keep my hands off the results as much as possible; the extent of my involvement is setting the algorithm to aggregate the results. I wish I could be fully hands off, but as none of the lists have 1:1 correlation in their grades, I have to have that much involvement. Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.
The big news this past week was Game8 rearranging their tier list to make Kaede the sole inhabitant of their SS tier. This should be no surprise as she’s more than worthy, with a unprecedented amount of combined damage and survivability that makes most of the game’s content a joke (even if she is overkill for most situations). I don’t necessarily expect the other lists will follow suit, though, as how much value is there in making that distinction? It’s not like the old Arena 1-Ra Dragon days where that team was so far ahead of everything else AND trivialized farming the most valuable resource in the game at the time. That deserved a distinction. Kaede currently has nothing like that except maybe Arena 3 for Radar Dragons, but why not just co-op that?

I believe both Sumire and Miru should be rated higher. The only real difference between Sumire and Kaede is top-end damage, but Sumire’s damage is more than sufficient for almost every application in the game. |

It seems like Reco has been playing this team almost exclusively lately. He makes just about every team look amazing (except Fenrir Viz), but even if you aren’t a god, Miru should still perform exceptionally well for you. This is the new Zaerog∞ and she should stick around longer due to the raw power of the heart-cross. |

Just when Game8 decided to show her some much deserved love, she gets booted — along with many others — due to Kaede essentially shifting everything down a tier. This is really unfortunate and I’m surprised Game8 didn’t make an entirely new tier for Kaede like they did for Ra Dragon. |

I’ve been playing a bit of GKali lately and she’s quite powerful and a lot of fun to use. I’m horrible at the whole rainbow row thing, but I’m enjoying learning how to play it better. The damage doesn’t disappoint and it’s pretty amazing if you can pull off two rows. |

If you’re wondering where he went, Game8 moved him to their new co-op list where he’s in the top tier, as expected. As I suspected last week, he just doesn’t cut it as a solo lead. Despite that, he’s probably the leader I’m most looking forward to, maybe in my entire time playing the game, due to easy farming with Zeus Dios. |

RIP. Shiva Dragon used to be one of my most used leads, but with the advent of skill inheritance and the increasing selection of killer awakenings, I’ve found that Cloud completely replaced him as my non-push button farming lead of choice. |

Bastet Ace was a boon for wood, but Robin Hood is better in just about every way. His top-end ATK multiplier is lower (81x vs 144x) and he has that annoying balanced type restriction meaning he can’t take advantage of any of wood’s triple dongers like Vishnu. However, add in the RCV bonus, a significantly better active (which boosts him to 121.5x), the ability to activate with only a single wood combo, and that they have the same multiplier at eight combos and things start to swing strongly in Robin Hood’s favor. I think Game8 has him rated reasonably. |

Nobunaga was almost tier-worthy before his buffs; now with 81x he’s easily one of the best leaders in the game and, to my dismay, he puts Pandora to shame. Even without his bind immunity he’d be elite, but with it, he should be relevant for a long time to come. |

Game8 had quite the overhaul last week, booting everything else out of SS except Kaede and completely removing the A+ tier. Basically everything was shifted down a tier, the old A+ tier was renamed A and everything below was dropped. As a result, Game8 is now the least inclusive list in the aggregate. So don’t be alarmed if your current lead got booted; there are plenty of other quality leads out there.

I’m not sure what the real value of a co-op list is as everything outside the SS tier is basically what would appear in a solo list, but at least it’s better than jamming them together like GameWith does.

As much as I like Nobunaga (and to a lesser extent, Robin Hood), I’m a bit skeptical about them being rated so high. AppMedia’s list is a bit of a mess (really? Yomi Dragon?), so it’s hard to gauge exactly where everything should actually land. Like, I’d argue that Nobunaga is better than Lakshmi, but do either really deserve to be where they’re currently placed? It’s hard to say. This is a good example of why AppMedia is weighed less into the aggregate list: it’s just hard to have confidence in their ratings. Regardless, I’m curious where these two gala-exclusive cards wind up in the coming weeks. |

Considering Liu Bei is basically a co-op exclusive leader, I’m his popularity has more to do with people looking for co-op partners than actually adding friends to their list.
Also of note, I think much of Lucifer’s increased popularity this week was for his ability to clear the Zeus +297 dungeon.

Just wondering which is a nice Sumire Team. I have two of them and plenty of hypermaxed water cards so I’m considering prepare a team for her. I own an Andromeda, Gabriel, Lakshmi, two Sumires and three Urd a Freyr (for SI) and a bunch of non-hearthmakers water cards.

Sorry, your question got lost in the mix. The two Sumires are obviously automatic, so the remaining 3 slots should be a mix of heartmakers and utility that suit the dungeon. As for which, to be honest, I don’t have a clue. If I had to say, Andromeda is probably the best from what you listed and then she can combo with Urd’s board change. As for where you should inherit that, I don’t know either. I just haven’t had the time to thoroughly research new teams lately.

Which cloud team are you using for farming? I’m not fully sure how killer awakenings factor in unless you’re using nonstandard team?

You make a team that best suits the dungeon you’re farming. Thinking there’s a team that performs best in all situations is silly. The notion of “ideal teams” or “ideal subs” is something that needs to go away since people are applying the term to teams in general when it’s really for a specific situation.

Oh, sorry. I haven’t played Cloud too much. I thought his whole point was that you have the system and just use Cloud every turn with a TPA or row. Then 1 big burst for boss.
Is that not how he’s used for farming?

Yeah, 4 Clouds complete the system. You have 2 sub slots to use how you wish.

Does the LiuBei Zeus Dios team have any realy advantages/disadvantages over the Hitsugaya version for Co-op farming purposes?

Yeah, not many have multiple Hitsugayas as well as something to lead them, but all you need here is a Liu Bei. There are a few other reasons like Dios’s multi-boosts and such, but when the biggest obstacle to co-op is having a good pool of partners to farm with, Liu Bei has a huge advantage.

I don’t have a set team, although I think Australis is pretty solid as a regular. I also like Susano for covering fire. So as a repercussion of running both of those, Spica is great to hit 100% SBR.
In general, color coverage comes first, then try to fit in orb changers and rows where you can.

BibleThump.. Noo Panda! =( atleast she can do A1/2 without needing a shield lol.. my clear rate with Panda is actually pretty nice with SI.
Watching Reco use Miru exclusively makes me so tempted to play with.. love her stats, leader skills and everything. Looking forward to making a team with her.
I also am deciding between which Heart Cross leader to try.. i don’t really have an ideal team for Kaede, but I do for the other two.. just wondering, apart from system teams, how do you plan to play Sumire? Rows or TPAs? I figured she’d be similar to like a Yomi Dragon play style.. I was even thinking about just purely stacking like orb enhances with Nutx2, Constellation gods, and like Awoken Hermes

Sumire should be fine with just OEs, but if it comes down to rows vs. TPAs then TPAs should be better if only because you’ll be able to utilize them more often (9 orbs vs 11 orbs).

So much green… It almost seems a joke that it was the worst color not so long ago. Now fire is the one in the biggest trouble, more because their ONE top lead has such a restrictive subpool.
But yeah, I’ve seen other teams clear the dungeon (Miru, for example, is perfectly able to do it) but they have it harder. ALuci just has to inherit a board reset and he is good to go. I still think they should buff his active a bit, however.

How good is Kaede if you only have one of her? It seems that her optimal team is extremely whale heavy, even more so than Radra. All the endgame videos I’ve found of her team use dupes of her.

To be honest, I don’t know. I’d imagine it’s a similar drop off like the one seen between 1x and 3x Xiang Mei teams. In other words, still incredibly good.

Re sub pool for Robin Hood: as you say no triple TPA available but Osiris and (new) Zeal uevo with 2 TPA + 3-4 OE should not be too shabby either. Bartz from FF collab could also be decent as sub or for SI.

I mean I could’ve fired up PDX, done a monster search and listed every mediocre card that came up, but the point is there’s no killer sub at this time to make his 81x completely ridiculous.

Do you think it’s correct that Xiu Min (Chysanthemum) barely makes any of the lists? It seems like he’s only a half tier below You Yu to me, if that, but all the lists basically ignore him.

Xiu Min is probably rated correctly. If anything You Yu is overrated after the heart-cross buffs.

Hey Setsu,
What do you think of building a ADQXQ team on NA? Seems like its lost steam and I already have A. Sakuya. I can max skill ADQXQ and A. Apollo, but Baal and Pollux would be unskilled. I plan to use A. sus in the last spot.
Also, what do you think of building an A. Panda team this late? No akechi, but Zuoh, Lu Bu, Loki, Luci, are available. Can you also review You Yu?
