With 9.1 likely coming soon, quite possibly with tonight’s maintenance, I wanted to familiarize myself with Zeus Dios farming teams. It’s not that difficult to throw together random teams to farm his skill up dungeons, but as I’m planning to max skill two more for the Awoken Liu Bei farming team, I may as well be efficient about it. After 9.1 brings the co-op everything update, there’ll be no more efficient way to do it than through co-op, if only for the half stamina bonus.
Acquiring skill ups through his descended seems to be the most time efficient way to farm. The main positive being that if you co-op, two of the five floors can be buttoned (the second floor Griffin and third floor Archangel) and the rest can be taken care of with full-board swipes. The largest hurdles are dealing with the preemptive strikes, especially if you’re running Goemon, but for the most part those can be dealt with with shields like Raphael.
As for the alternatives, the main problem with the Bowl Dragon dungeon is that it’s two floors longer and has the annoying, high-defense Mug Dragons as random spawns, raising the team building requirements. Hera Beorc is of a similar difficulty, but doesn’t have as many good button options, requires 100% SBR and Beorc’s light absorb can be annoying if you want to lead with something like Goemon. God Rush is the final alternative and is a good option for those that want better rank EXP or want to skill up other cards found in the dungeon.
As for actual teams, YouTube saves the day:
This gist of this video is that the entire team is farmable. I doubt many players would have these cards just sitting around, but for those that don’t, the Tengus and Goemons will be a good investment as they’ll likely see use in future co-op farming teams. The team has a total of 21 skill boosts, meaning you don’t have to skill up most of the cards. The Goemons and Mugtea (Shaitan skill up fodder, 100% wood resist for three turns) don’t need any. However, the Chinbowdra (Raphael skill up fodder) needs at least two.
This team makes use of the shared skill boosts to utilize Zeromus for the button portions of the run. The upside of this team is you don’t have to fool around with shields, making it a bit quicker and less error prone as you won’t die by forgetting to activate the correct shields at the right time. The downside is your Zeromuses need a certain amount of ATK +eggs to work. However, if you’re serious about co-op farming in the future, the +egg investment might be worth it.
This team isn’t all that great, but it demonstrates two things. First, the more common Goemon + Vritra combo can be used in place of the Zeromuses or other more obscure nukes to take care of floors two and three. The other, more important point, is that a variety of different subs can be used to achieve the same effect, even if it’s less time efficient.
So in the end, there wasn’t all that much to learn as team building is straightforward. Regardless, I’m going to farm Zeus Dios the moment we get both his descended and the co-op everything update. I can’t wait for Awoken Liu Bei to hit NA and I’m planning to throw together a short post about his farming teams in the future.
