JP Aggregate Leader List

Disclaimer: The aggregate list is basically a compilation of the leader tier lists from three JP PAD sites: Game8, GameWith and AppMedia. The idea is that while a single tier list can have many points of contention, hopefully an aggregate can kind of smooth things over (it doesn’t, really, but it helps a bit). I try to keep my hands off the results as much as possible; the extent of my involvement is setting the algorithm to aggregate the results. I wish I could be fully hands off, but as none of the lists have 1:1 correlation in their grades, I have to have that much involvement. Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.
For the first time a while, I was ready to do this post on Saturday, but I was waiting on Pad Plus to update their popularity list. Turns out they were actually on time, but they slightly changed things so my script wasn’t picking up the latest page. Then they also slightly changed their format so I had to update scrape script.
JP Aggregate Leader List Changes of Note

Change: ❀➞3
This change is due to GameWith adding him to their SS tier. To be perfectly honest, it’s puzzling why he wasn’t there earlier, considering their list also factors co-op. |
New Card Holding Tank
Card | Notes |
The consensus seems to be that she’s very strong, but not on Kaede’s level. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that. All other comparisons aside, in practice she’s certainly inferior since she doesn’t have as much movement time as Kaede or Miru. Player skill has never been a stated criteria for these lists, but I’d be surprised if that didn’t play a role in her judgment. |
|
Perhaps to many people’s surprise, Ronove is doing about as well as Gremory in these lists. While the rainbow + heart-cross playstyle might sound intimidating, unlike Gremory, Ronove’s team has plenty of time extends. And, as stated last week, his active is much stronger than it looks in text. |
|
There’s been much talk about how good Cao Cao actually is, but at least from the aggregate’s perspective, Game8 appears to be the outlier. We’ll see where he lands when he leaves the holding tank next week. |

2916x ATK sounds quite impressive, but when you see the team in practice, the damage numbers aren’t as big as you might think (still large, but I was expecting way more). Mainly because your combo count is so low and the only offensive awakening you can consistently take advantage of are OEs. However, I guess saying 8+ digits of damage is “low” just reflects how ridiculous teams are nowadays. Perhaps I’ll be more impressed once JP gets to play with the cards themselves instead of just watching a demo; I’ll reserve judgment until then. |

Saito sure looks great on paper, but it’s hard to judge a card just by that. As with Kenshin, I’ll be waiting for videos out of JP. |

Game8 seems to be standing pat on their Cao Cao rating. I’ll be curious to see if he remains there once they’re forced to update their list for the Kenshin cards.

Why does it always seem like AppMedia’s list is always in a need of an overhaul?

Ronove is probably going to catch a lot of people by surprise, I’m honestly shocked there aren’t more videos of him tearing up arenas and rushes

I think many already thought that he sounded really fun to play, it’ll be a huge bonus if he’s also one of the best leaders as well.

You’ve probably already seen this, but reddit has a pretty cool gif of kenshin reaching the absolute damage cap of 2,147,483,647 with 6 crosses. Probably won’t be practical for descends, but I can’t wait for him to get to NA just to activate the 2,125,764x multiplier

Yeah, I find it amusing that the damage cap is now “easily” reachable in this game. I’m just waiting for people to keep trying that set up and eventually get 2+ more crosses via skyfall just to see the ridiculous multiplier value.

There’s a damage cap in P&D? What is it? 99,999,999 per card? Or 999,999,999 per card?
LikeLike
Its 2,147,483,647, or (2^31)-1, since it is the maximum positive value for a 32-bit signed binary integer in computing

What are the chances Kenshin will be released in NA? I hope it doesn’t share the same fate as DBZ (where quite frankly, will never be released in NA due to licensing complications)

Your guess is as good as mine. Wish I could be more informative, but anything I say would just be speculation and wishful thinking. I certainly hope we get it because it looks to be one of collabs closest to FF as far as value.

Why has Raoh fallen off the ranking charts when Awoken Astaroth is still there? They have the same leader skill. Does she have a better sub pool?
LikeLike
Astaroth’s subpool is smaller, but her standard subs have a lot more RCV than Raoh’s, so taking hits is easier for her to come back from.

She’s also bind immune.

After watching Paprika’s demonstration of Kenshin, 2916x ATK is kinda ridiculous. There’s ways for dungeons to counter it (combo thresholds, damage absorbs, resolve thresholds, move time debuffs, etc.), but I think most pure spike leaders without HP/RCV modifiers have been left in the dust.

In terms of MP Dragons like Yomi Dragon and Ra Dragon, do their respective Radar Dragons fall in the same ranking as they do?

I’d assume so.
