500 +297s

Long image is long.

For perspective, I was at 200 on April 11th and 297 on June 15th. I got lazy the past couple of months and even skipped some STTDs, but +eggs accumulate so fast even when you’re not really trying. I decided to put some effort into hitting 500 before the end of the year and the GungHo PEM certainly helped with the last spurt.

Not everything is hyper. I have enough resources to hyper everything, but I’m waiting for the wood snow globe buffs to max level the revo wood cards and the few things that aren’t max skilled (MHera, Wisdom Kings, a couple other things) I have the Pys for, but farming Arena 1 is so boring I’d rather just put it off until I absolutely need them.

There’s still so many things left to hyper. Back to the grind.

More perspective: I was at 50 about a year ago.

  3. Congrats! I always enjoy looking at your gigantic images of 297’s, you have so much good shit.

    I just hit 175 today, which I would have never dreamt possible for me a year ago. I’m so glad the game has progressed past the days of 5x techs / 3x normals / star vault for plus farming. Faking a well timed shit break at work has been so much more rewarding over this past year 🙂

  5. Congrats on 500! I just hit 50 this week, and I’m about the same rank as you were when you first hit 50. Unfortunately, I doubt that I’ll hit 900 by this time next year, since I don’t have the dedication to play that much, nor the stones, since I’m niap.

    • Well, there comes a point where the extra +297s are pretty useless. Like on my niap alt I have about 20 fodders sitting there doing nothing since there’s nothing worth using them on. 50 is a great amount so congrats on the good work you’ve put in so far!

  8. Hey I was just curious to the reasoning of inheriting stuff onto your Ragnarok Dragons, like I thought their skills were such an essential part of them? I don’t know, what do you even have inherited on them? I hope this doesn’t come of as “rude” because I don’t have much experience with high MP monsters so this is out of complete curiosity. Anyways dude, congrats of course! Huge achievement!

    • I use them as subs on my MAthena Arena 1 farming team so in general I have orb changers like Liu Bei inherited on them. He’s fun as a change of pace, but I don’t have much reason to run Ronove anymore so the inherits are pretty much permanent now.

      Sitri, but she’ll pop out of the machine eventually. That’s really about it tbh. Maybe another Dantalion, but even if we get red Myr it probably won’t be better than the light team.

      Now it’s time to live in fear of the next wave of 6-stars.

  14. Is there any card that you don’t have dupes of that you wish you did? Looking through your box is like seeing an A list of what cards are worth keeping extras of (like Yamato or Eschamali).

    • From a practical standpoint, nothing much, really. With the future changes to skill inheritance, my current level of dupes are more than enough (I hate farming Tans). I wish I had another Ilm to play around with. I used to want multiple Dantalions, but with the direction the game is going an eventual fire heart-cross lead probably wouldn’t be all that great. A 4th BOdin would’ve been interesting had he come with an SBR, too. For farmables, of course more Orphs would always be nice and I’d probably have another MAthena if she didn’t cost 15 Woodpys to realistically make. Can’t really think of anything else off the top of my head.

      • Well, the biggest news for end-game players in the JP patch is the King Tans. 4 of those in the right color can VASTLY reduce the need to farm a difficult dungeon like MAthena over and over, Just 15 dupes (which is still a fair amount of work) and bam, done with skill ups.

        I’m light IAP but I still recently bought more box space so I can fill it with Tans for that eventual option. I want to finish Myr skill ups without tear out my remaining hair, tyvm.

        Is there anything new about the current DC collab worth mentioning? I YOLO rolled it once just for kicks. Got Green Arrrow (bleh) on my main and one alt accout, but other alt got Superman in one roll. Silly luck.

        • Probably only Superman for potential farming applications until they decide to buff the REM again. Batman is a fine card, too, but is overshadowed as a leader and needs more awakenings as a sub.
