Light Sprite and Hello Kitty S Ranks

It feels like such a long time since my last S rank.

I tested out my Goemon team on Light Sprite, only to realize you actually need a decent avg. combo to get the S rank. I dusted off my RSonia and got the 9 combo on the boss floor. This might actually be the first time I’ve taken her into a dungeon. I should probably level my fire monsters soon…

Hello Kitty was done with my normal Mini Valk team. I derped just about every combo on every floor, but I think I got the S rank on team cost alone.

Blue Sprite S Rank

Mini Valk, once again.

Dragon Guardian and Scarlet Snake Princess S Ranks

I forgot that I had already S ranked Sword of Flames, so here’s the batch of the other survey dungeon S ranks. Mini Valk pretty much trivializes all these low-end S ranks, but with these out of the way I think that covers all the easy ones.

Dark Night Sword and Blade of Justice S Ranks

Not much to say here as all of these should be fairly easy to S rank for everyone. I’ll likely group Dragon Guardian, Scarlet Snake Princess and Sword of Flames into a single post, as well.

I have a hard time believing I never S ranked this set of survey dungeons before, but I actually haven’t been playing the game for very long.

Shadow Sprite S Rank

Despite my best efforts to sabotage a trivial S rank by accidentally picking DQXQ instead of LValk, I was able to do it. Amusingly I had the ability to activate them (light, wood, water, hearts), but I didn’t even notice my mistake until I got to the boss level because I didn’t one shot it. I considered going back and doing a proper run to post here, but I figure this makes a boring S rank a bit more impressive.

RO Collab S Rank

Dungeons that have monsters with high defense, like Poporing in Poring Tower or Skeggiold for this RO Collab, make it difficult for me to S rank as my low rarity teams waste a lot of time pinging them down. In this case, the solution was to try for the S rank based solely on rarity and hope for the best. With a little luck I was able to S rank this dungeon.

Red Sprite S Rank

There’s not much to do in between events, so I got this S rank out of the way, as unimpressive as it is. Mini Valk is quickly becoming my lead of choice for S ranks of this level.

I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do for Yamato skill ups as I need to conserve stones as much as possible. I’ll try to devote as much natural stamina to this dungeon as possible, particularly on bonus days, but how much I’m able to really depends on the next event schedule. Ideally, the only thing I’d spend stones on from here to next month, which is when I can refresh my  stone budget, is Beelzebub, but somehow I doubt I have the discipline for that. I’ll try my best, though.

Poring Tower S Rank

To my surprise, I didn’t S rank Poring Tower until today. I’m guessing that the Poporings made it difficult for me in the past to get a decent turn score, but I’m surprised I couldn’t just get it through rarity like I did this run. I tried to S rank it using a few different Athena teams, but the team rarity was killing my score. I decided to go with the bare minimum so I took advantage of the Christmas minis’ low rarity and came up with this team. I gotta say, it’s pretty nice to have 4 orb changers available at 3.3 avg. rarity. I may have to use this team again in the future.

Dark Insect Dragon S Rank

This one was really easy, as expected, and I got it on my first try even with that horrendous combo count. Use the Gold Pirate for the Demon/Chimera floor, then Meimei + GZL + Athena to take care of the boss. A fully skilled Light Mystic Knight would make the run even more consistent.
