Wow, we actually get a decent notice this time? Amazing.

This is a help thread, so please feel free to ask questions on just about anything concerning the godfest or your teams, box and progress in general.

Please read the rules before posting, especially if this is your first time:

  • I will only take box questions that supply a PADherder. It makes it much, much easier for me to give good advice this way (you could say I can’t give good advice without the sorting options). Try PadListener to sync if you’re on Android (if it works for you), otherwise use this method.
  • Box/roll questions that don’t supply rank, IAP status and main teams will be ignored. Any other information you want to supply will only help.
  • Please check the FAQ after the break before asking a question. Questions that aren’t covered by the FAQ will be prioritized; questions that don’t may be ignored.
  • I have WordPress set to flag comments with multiple links to combat spam. I still get the comment, I just have to approve it manually for it to show up on the site. So if your comment doesn’t show up, this might be the case. Ideally, only post a single link to your PADherder.
  • I generally reply on a first come, first serve basis, but if there’s a low hanging fruit I’ll address that first.
  • I will post thread status as bold red comments. Make sure you read these comments before posting to make sure you aren’t violating the rules. I’m no longer segregating comments by day, instead I’ll indicate how many questions I be able to take for a given thread in the first status comment, then stop taking new ones after that.
  • No new questions will be taken after the godfest ends. Questions asked in other posts may be ignored; please wait for the next godfest!
  • Follow-ups to existing questions will be taken as long as the post is still open for comments.
  • I’ll close the post for comments a few hours after the godfest ends.
  • Any comments breaking the rules will be removed without warning.

I’m still pressed for time, so once againdon’t expect prompt replies this time. I’ll probably close the comments earlier each day than usual. Apologies to anyone who I can’t get to. Anyways, here are the rules:

This isn’t quite the star-studded godfest I was expecting before the highly anticipated PCGF at the end of the month, but it’s still a fairly good attempt by GungHo to drain you of your stones before the holiday season. I guess expecting something like a Chinese + Heroes day would be asking too much?

Day 1 is good, but loses a ton of value by having no Kalis or Norns. I’d suggest holding off rolling this day for that fact alone.

Day 2 is dragged down by the Indian 2s, but it also has the Kalis and the Chinese are one of the strongest overall pantheons in the game. It’s questionable if this day has more value than an average PCGF so you might be better off waiting unless you’re worried about the roll you want not making it.

Well, I wasn’t expecting another godfest quite so soon (I am glad, however, that I have no need to roll). Neither day is a slam dunk, but there’s good value in both.

Day 1 features what is likely the best overall pantheon in the Chinese, but it also has one of the pantheons I dislike the most in the Indian 2. With Sakuya getting her awoken uevo, there’s no longer any weakness in the entire pantheon. The Indian 2, on the other hand, are a bit of a mixed bag, but at least the pantheon now includes arguably the best wood sub in Vishnu. Speaking of which, this day should be particularly tempting for wood users to roll as it includes the two best wood subs in Meimei and Vishnu.

I like day 2 better overall than day 1. The Japanese 1 are one of the few pantheons than can compare to the Chinese in overall value and I feel that the Sengoku are overall more useful than the Indian 2s. If you didn’t get the Sengokus you wanted from the previous godfest — and you still have money in your wallet — this is a fine day to roll.

I can get used to godfest announcements coming this “early”.

After getting the rest of their awoken uevos, Japanese 1 is now one of the best overall pantheons in the game. Pair them with the Heroes and you have the second highest overall rated pantheon pair — only behind the Chinese + Heroes — and the very best rated for subs. This doesn’t mean you should automatically roll day 1, but if you need anything specific to fill out a team or are just shopping for value, this is about as good as it gets.

Day 2 can’t hold a candle to day 1, but it’s still quite good for leaders. The Indian 1 pantheon is as good as it’s always been, only losing a little footing due to power creep, but that’s to be expected. Egypt 2 is in line to get their first set of uevos with Nut and Osiris already having theirs revealed. Sadly, they weren’t all that impressive, but an upgrade is an upgrade. Hopefully the rest of the pantheon will get something better.

Thanks to GungHo, I had very little time to prepare this godfest review. It’s not as robust as I’d like it to be, but I wanted to get it out ASAP. I may make some changes to the post later, particularly for day 2.

Day 1 is a great day to roll, particularly for subs. The Chinese are some of the best subs in the game and the Greco-Romans are no slouches either. Both pantheons are also great situational leads, the resist clauses of their leader skills making child’s play of endgame dungeons they line up well with. If you need the Chinese in particular, this is a great time to roll as NA should be getting their awoken uevos within the next couple months or so.

Day 2 is nothing special… yet. The prize of Japanese 1 is Awoken Kagutsuchi, but the rest are outdated as subs and they are all poor leaders. Conversely, Egypt 2 are underwhelming subs, but are great as leaders, their HP and RCV multipliers being extremely strong. They are all overshadowed by the newest uevos, but there is hope. Hopefully GungHo will finish what they started with Kagu and give the rest of the pantheon awoken uevos. Egypt 1 is next in line for uevos which could be incredibly strong. Not the greatest day to roll, but they could be gold someday.
