It’s hard to say what the ideal Arena 2 team is at this point in time. I’ll leave it to JP to figure it out.
Yomi Dragon Arena 1

Perhaps the biggest advantage this team has over Ra Dragaon in Arena 1 is that it has no problem with Sopdet.
Pandora

Currently tied with Raoh for my favorite team to use. Skill inheritance will help relax the devil restriction. I’m currently looking at putting Awoken Meimei on a Cerberus Rider, but I’m waiting to see what else JP comes up with.
Farming
Shiva Dragon
Shiva Dragon puts all other farming teams to shame.
Cloud-Leonis System

When you can’t push button, Cloud is the next best thing. With his uevo including machines he gained more sub flexibility.
Shiva Dragon-Markab System

This team is just flat out worse than Cloud, but the one advantage is that there are plenty of Shiva Dragons on my friends list where there are barely any Clouds.

I just never fully committed to the team and by the time I had the spare +eggs, the game had already passed her by.
Zaerog∞

Zaerog is very strong, but I’m not enamored with the gameplay.
Awoken Bastet

Bastet is still one of the best leaders in the game, but the MP Dragons have obsoleted just about everything.
Osiris
There may be a time when I need the HP pool again, but for now there’s not much use for the team.
Meimei System

The damage output is impressive, but the team does have it’s weaknesses: bad board change RNG, big preemptives and multiple preemptives. With Shiva Dragon being so dominant, I don’t have much use for this team anymore, but it does burst more consistently.
Yomi

It was a short ride, but Yomi just isn’t worth the puzzling effort for me. I may take the team out for a spin once in a while to challenge myself or for a change of pace, but, once again, the MP Dragons have trumped every other lead in the game.

The team died before it’s time. After getting used to steamrolling with MP Dragons all day, I don’t have the patience for tank teams anymore.

I should actually just take down this page. I almost never solo anything anymore outside of the challenges/campaigns and co-op requires specific set ups for each dungeon so there’s really no point to this page anymore.

Would love to get an update to this page! I know all your current teams since I’m a big fan of this blog, but it would help when I refer my buddies here so that they can see what the latest and greatest are.
Ive tried passing along the gamewith and game8 pages, but as soon as they see the japanese they are turned off.

Yeah, I’m not all that happy with the current power creep, but it looks like things are settling down a bit so hopefully we get a few months to catch our breath. I’ll really have to reassess how I play the game if they pile on another MP Dragon-like power leap again in the near future.

Love the blog! May I ask why your APandora team prefers ALoki over Claire (the Game8 template you mentioned on 2/24)? Would Claire be preferred over ALoki with skill inheritance available? Thanks!

I’m trying to work on a sephiorth team cause i got lucky and yolo rolled him but since I’m not iap I’m having trouble making a team for him, so far my team for him is, sephiorth, Beelzebub, awoken isis ( though i still need two mats too evo her) awoken venus ( though i still need mats for her) and the r/d ares….. Is there anything i should replace for other farmable subs or should that team work? Thanks in advance

Non-IAP Seph is gonna have a really hard time. I’d look into getting one of the farmable LKali or DKali board changers on the team even if some of them aren’t devils.

What if i replaced Beelzebub with awoken idunn and ares with volsung? That should work as long as pop volsung then Idunn correct? And thanks for taking the time to give me advice

I was thinking more along the lines of Jormungandr or Gainaut than Volsung. You already have so many things to work around, why make your life even hard?

I may wait till the next godfest and and the current 10 stones we get (or hope i get at least 5 before godfest) and hope i get something that works with well with either sephirorh or something for my gadius team which currently doesn’t work the best (i.e i had trouble with gaia descended legend today) but i really appreciate your help

Actually a lot of people are telling me i should just reroll cause I’m only ~90 days in and rank 191 And only spent 30$ on game but after yolo rolling a sephiroth and getting the other stuff i told you about during pcgf i only have maybe 3 other rem cards i hadn’t told you about but I’m kinda hesitant since i really love my sephiorth. In your opinion should i reroll?

This game is about having fun. If you think having Sephiroth enhances your PAD experience, then you should definitely keep him.
