I endeavor to have as little influence on the results as possible. Feel free to refer to the FAQ. Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.

  1. Thanks so much for taking time to still update this. I know it’s probably a hassle but its really helpful, even without your input. Still waiting on a Setsu blog for all games : thinking:

    • Thanks! I may not make a post every week, as evidenced by the lack of a post last week, but as long as I can find the time I’ll keep doing it.

I’m currently enjoying the break away from blogging. I do miss it once in a while, but work is getting so busy I just don’t have the time to dedicate to it as a hobby anymore. At least not at a level that would meet my standards. At this point in my career, going into full time content creation isn’t realistic financially, sadly. Who knows what the future may hold, though.

      • Hi setsu! I downloaded FEH after reading your thoughts on it a few weeks back. I’m really enjoying the game itself, but have been finding the majority of subjective online content lackluster. In a hypothetical, time rich future, could you see yourself working on an FEH blog? It’d be interesting to get your take on events/new heroes as they’re released.

        • Glad you like the game! I’m still enjoying it very much and I’m excited for the next content update.

I have thought about doing some very casual FEH blogging. I’ve noticed, as you mentioned, that the current content about the game isn’t that great and is often misleading or just flat out incorrect. Well, I feel like that really isn’t going to change. Where PAD had “objectively” the best teams for certain dungeons, FEH’s current content, which is largely Arena-based, doesn’t lend itself to that, especially since Arena is tiered in a way where one player may never see a certain unit that another player sees virtually every match. Even subjective topics like “what’s my best team” is even more so in FEH because you can’t even start with a leader as a basis. As such, it’s very difficult to write something that is informative, objective and caters to a large audience all while being “correct”. I don’t envy those trying to make FEH content at this time, but hopefully, eventually, there will be enough game content where content creators can all find their niche.

With this PAD blog I tried to be objective as possible from a whale perspective; any FEH blog I do will be more like a traditional blog that simply logs my subjective experiences (although I would explain my reasoning behind my decisions and team building which would hopefully still be useful). I also believe that being a FEH whale is much more expensive than in PAD so while most would consider me a FEH whale, I’m much further from the apex than I was with PAD. This is because in FEH the majority of heroes are actually quite good post-inheritance and I’m not willing to +10 multiple units to give that true whale perspective.

Anyways, I’m still taking a wait and see attitude with FEH and if they continue to prove to me that they’ll continue to make good decisions and produce good content, the chances of me blogging will increase. Either way, though, I’m really enjoying my break so I probably won’t take up blogging again in the immediate future.

          • It’s not bad if you play it casually. But if you intend to be top Arena rank, then prepare to spend money because Arena rank is based on money more than skill (one of my biggest gripes).

            • Post-update, while there’s more variety in your opponents (at least at the rank 100-300 range where my level of investment has gotten me), you’re correct that money is the prevailing factor in success as merges are weighed so heavily. However, I don’t really mind that since, in general, I still find Arena to be entertaining. I just accept I’ll never rank single or double digits and enjoy it for what it is. It’s not like skill is a huge factor anyways and the feather rewards are still acceptable at lower tiers.

I do foresee the merge grind/purchasing being annoying in the future, though, but considering the rate and quality of their updates I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

  2. We’ll it happened. RevoKushinada is now one of the(if not the) best lead in the game…

If somebody would’ve told me 1 or 2 years ago that a team consisting of Kushinada, Haku and either a red or a blue Valk would be the top-tier team. What a time to be alive!

  3. Not surprised to see LMeta debut one week, then get removed from the tierlists the next. I love your new card holding tank–great idea! Not going to stop me from using LMeta when her new ult hits NA but just another reason why tier lists should always raise a few eyebrows when new ults appear there.

But personally I’ve become a Jammer Junkie. Fenrir’s buffs are great, it’s lolzy seeing x2,000+ go off.

  4. Lmeta isnt really gone, she lives on in the form of lhera which pairs with her. Still quite a strong lead imo

    • He’s not terrible. If you’ve got a team, then Fenrir Viz is a perfectly capable lead. Not insane like Aizen or DAthena or anything, but enough to play a large chunk of endgame content
